Open Startup Unveils Second Iteration of GROW Program to Empower African Startups

Open Startup, a non-profit dedicated to fostering innovation and entrepreneurial acumen, has revealed the rollout of the GROW program’s second edition. This comprehensive initiative aims to propel promising African startups towards expansion and facilitate their access to capital.

As a stalwart advocate for entrepreneurship, education, and intercultural dialogue, Open Startup is committed to creating opportunities for startups to flourish. The 12-month GROW program is tailored for African startups that have secured funding of up to US$350,000 and are on track to reach their first US$1 million milestone. Developed in collaboration with key partners such as AfricaGrow, Africinvest Group, BPI France, and Go Ventures, the program offers a robust framework for participants.

GROW delivers a comprehensive suite of resources and support services vital for startups aiming to penetrate new markets and accelerate their growth trajectories. Following the success of the inaugural cohort, which saw 13 startups selected from over 600 applicants, GROW is poised to continue empowering African startups to scale their operations and navigate the intricate landscape of fundraising.
