Moroccan Logistics Startup Colis.ma Lands $300K to Drive African Expansion and Dominate Regional Market

Morocco-based logistics startup Colis.ma has secured a $300,000 pre-seed investment from Witamax, a VC firm backed by private investors. The funds will support expansion into Morocco’s top five regions and six European countries, with plans to extend into West African markets.

Strategic Growth Plans

Colis.ma, founded by CEO Issam Darui in 2022, has outlined a roadmap for additional funding anticipated in early 2026. This round will support the startup’s efforts to capture more of the competitive logistics market. Over the past year, Colis.ma has quintupled its business, achieving a 380% increase in Annual Recurring Revenue in 2023.

Rapid Growth and Client Focus

With over 50,000 parcel deliveries across 55 destinations in six European nations, Colis.ma’s clients range from individuals with family ties to Europe to SMEs in cosmetics, handcrafted goods, and organic products. The startup aims to empower more SMEs with easier access to European markets.

Strategic Partnerships and Future Vision

To streamline operations, Colis.ma has built key partnerships, leveraging technology to enhance client services. Darui envisions Colis.ma as a logistics leader, bridging Africa and Europe with tech-driven solutions to address industry transformation.

Funding History and Competitive Landscape

Before the recent $300,000 milestone, Colis.ma received $50,000 from The Baobab Network and a $45,000 grant in February 2024. Competing in Morocco’s dynamic logistics market, Colis.ma joins Logidoo, a logistics startup that raised $1.55 million in seed funding and a $50,000 grant for AI-driven solutions across Africa.
