Quick Read: Africa Tech Summit Nairobi has officially revealed the 10 exceptional African tech ventures selected to showcase their innovative solutions for potential funding and partnerships at the event, scheduled for February 12-13.
Hosted by Raenest at the Sarit Expo Centre, the summit will offer a comprehensive B2B experience, including an exhibition and an awards ceremony. The event will focus on four key themes: the Africa Money & DeFi Summit, Africa Climate Tech & Investment Summit, Africa Startup Summit, and Africa Mobile & App Summit.
The investment showcase received over 200 submissions from 24 countries, ultimately selecting 10 ventures that represent a wide array of sectors, including fintech, insurtech, e-health, agri-tech, and cleantech.
Selected Ventures from Nigeria:
- Dojah: An anti-fraud platform that enables businesses to detect, prevent, and manage fraudulent activities in real-time.
- Heala Tech: A digital health platform aimed at streamlining healthcare delivery across Africa.
- Pricepally: An e-commerce startup tackling inefficiencies in the food distribution system.
Selected Ventures from Kenya:
- Duhqa: A B2B platform connecting retailers with manufacturers and suppliers.
- MaishaPoa: An insurtech startup providing affordable and accessible micro-insurance solutions.
- OnSpace Technologies: A no-code platform offering adaptable business systems for agricultural SMEs and related industries.
Additional Selected Ventures:
- Flow Global (Uganda): Provides financing solutions for MSMEs in developing countries.
- Bizy Tech (Tanzania): Developed a digital agricultural platform.
- JaliKoi (Rwanda): Simplifies access to financial services for low and middle-income earners.
- Koolboks (operating in France, Nigeria, and Kenya): Offers pay-as-you-go solar-powered refrigeration solutions to underserved communities and SMEs.
