This initiative is a collaboration between the BATN Foundation and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), aligning with BATNF’s dedication to promoting youth engagement in sustainable agriculture.

The grant initiative specifically targets current NYSC members, aiming to make agribusiness appealing, reduce youth unemployment, drive youth involvement in agriculture, and foster economic development. The Farmers for the Future curriculum equips aspiring and emerging entrepreneurs with the necessary insights and knowledge to explore diverse market opportunities and develop a structured business model for strategic growth. The curriculum covers areas such as entrepreneurship mindset, business plan development, marketing strategies, financial literacy, and more.
Incentives and Support
Participants in the program have the opportunity to secure a share of the N10 million grant to kickstart or expand their agribusiness ventures. Thanks to the support of the British American Tobacco Nigeria Foundation, the program is offered at no cost to eligible entrepreneurs, covering all direct course expenses and providing post-program assistance.
Eligibility and Application Process
The F4F program is exclusively available to active NYSC members, who can apply for the program through the BATN Foundation Mobile app. The application period begins on August 26th, 2024, presenting a unique opportunity for young agripreneurs to receive training, reduce youth unemployment, and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s agricultural future.
