Founded in 2019 by Tamsir Ousmane Traore, Logidoo is an online platform that revolutionizes logistics services with real-time parcel tracking. The company has expanded its team with key executive roles such as CFO and COO. With a network of over 3,000 logistics suppliers, Logidoo has completed over 100,000 operations and serves 400 clients across eight countries in Africa, including Morocco, Senegal, Ivory Coast, and Tunisia.
Specializing in cross-border end-to-end 5PL logistics, Logidoo aims to advance the goals of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA). Their 5PL system looks beyond individual supply chains to encompass wider supply network.
Logidoo actively welcomes participants from both formal and informal sectors to broaden its market reach. From transportation to cash management, Logidoo handles all aspects of logistics. The recent funding reflects its commitment to addressing Africa’s relatively low intra-trade compared to other regions like Asia and the EU.
Previously, Logidoo secured a $200,000 seed investment from Kalys Ventures and Launch Africa in March 2022, and an undisclosed amount from the International Trade Centre in December 2021.
In a recent development, Logidoo announced the launch of a new subsidiary in Tunisia, adding to its presence in Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Mali, and Guinea Conakry. This expansion aims to strengthen connections between Tunisia and West Africa, enhancing efficiency in transport times, cost optimization, and supply chain management across African markets.
