Norrsken Accelerator, headquartered in Stockholm, extends an invitation to early-stage African founders with innovative visions for a brighter tomorrow to join its program. Handpicked startups will secure $125,000 in funding and partake in an intensive eight-week business development initiative.
Established in 2016 by Niklas Adalberth, a co-founder of Swedish fintech giant Klarna, Norrsken is dedicated to aiding entrepreneurs in tackling the world’s most pressing challenges. Its ecosystem encompasses Norrsken House, a Stockholm-based co-working space hosting over 350 impact-focused entrepreneurs, the Norrsken Founders Fund, and the Norrsken VC investment arm.
Expanding its footprint, Norrsken commenced operations in Kigali, Rwanda, in 2019, intending to utilize it as a center for investments across Eastern and Central Africa. In a significant stride, it recently concluded its inaugural African technology growth fund, amassing $205 million in November.
Now, Norrsken Accelerator calls for applications worldwide for its 2024 cohort. Scheduled from July to September at Norrsken House, the program prioritizes impact-driven ventures with resilient business models grounded in innovative technologies at the pre-seed stage.
Participants will enjoy round-the-clock access to a tech and impact entrepreneur-tailored workspace along with personalized mentorship and expert guidance aimed at fostering business scalability.
Upon completion, participants will showcase their startups to numerous investors, potential collaborators, and clients at Norrsken Investor Day. While the program culminates with a celebratory event, the engagement with Norrsken doesn’t cease there, as ongoing support, counsel, and connections with investors and partners persist.
Applications remain open until the end of April. Apply Here
