Established in 2018, Fez Delivery has successfully constructed a last-mile delivery platform that effectively connects businesses with their target markets.
After securing seed funding in the previous year and introducing a fleet of e-bikes, the startup has taken another significant step by unveiling a network of automated lockers. These lockers represent a reliable solution for businesses and individuals, offering a secure, convenient, and cost-effective means of sending and receiving parcels.
Given the prevalence of cash-on-delivery transactions in Nigeria, the persisting challenge of lost or stolen packages has been a significant concern. Fez Safe Lockers aim to address this issue by providing a secure alternative for online shoppers, eliminating the need for cash-on-delivery exchanges and minimizing the risks associated with theft.
Strategically positioned in high-footfall areas such as filling stations, Fez Safe Lockers ensure seamless pickup options for users. The lockers are equipped with user-friendly touchscreens and unique access codes, streamlining the process of package drop-off and retrieval. Moreover, real-time monitoring, CCTV surveillance, and secure locations are integral features that guarantee the safety of packages, preventing theft or loss.
Seun Alley, CEO and co-founder of Fez Delivery, shared insights into the company’s vision, stating, “At Fez, we’re not just delivering packages, we’re delivering a revolution. Fez Safe Lockers are unlocking. Our Lockers are more than just lockers, they’re an investment in Nigeria’s future. By modernising logistics and promoting sustainability, we’re building a delivery ecosystem that benefits everyone.” This perspective underscores the company’s commitment to revolutionizing the logistics landscape in Nigeria, not only by providing innovative solutions but also by contributing to the nation’s sustainable development goals.
