Data-Driven Innovations: A Call to Action
Data-Driven Digital Social Innovations in Africa, a joint initiative by Enabel, HAUS, and ESTDEV, announces two Calls for Proposals:
- Call 1: Grants for Public Sector and Non-Profits
- Up to EUR 300,000 per data-driven digital social innovation implemented by public institutions, academia, civil society organizations, non-governmental organizations, or social enterprises.
- These innovations aim to tackle societal challenges across various sectors through data utilization and sharing.
- Call 2: Empowering the Private Sector
- Tailored training and personalized mentoring for data-driven digital social innovations implemented by private sector actors.
- This includes a partnership and investment brokering facility, along with capacity building.
Beyond Borders: Addressing Global Challenges
Societal challenges—such as climate change, digital health, migration, natural resource management, agriculture, and digital inclusion—transcend national boundaries. The Calls prioritize digital social innovations across the following African countries:
