The GTA 6 leaker known as Cyberleek has threatened to release a build of the game containing the full story mode, “played to the end, credits and all,” if the leaker’s memecoin reaches a market cap of $30 million.
The warning appeared on the Cyberleek website, which demands that Take-Two Interactive release GTA 6 on physical discs and issue a public apology to stop the leak.
Cyberleek’s statement says Take-Two “gets one way out: physical disks and a public apology.” The leaker frames the GTA 6 leaks as a protest against the lack of a disc version of the game. It is unclear whether Cyberleek intends to publish a playable build online or a full playthrough in video form.
How the Cyberleek Memecoin Threat Works
The memecoin’s market cap stood at $3.8 million when the threat was reported, after spiking to $5.7 million as news of the message spread on social media. Reaching $30 million would require roughly an eightfold increase.
The website also lists lower thresholds tied to further leaked gameplay footage. At $2 million and $4 million, Cyberleek promised clips showing co-protagonist Lucia in increasingly revealing states of undress. A poll where fans pay to vote on the next leak using the leaker’s cryptocurrency is reportedly live on the site.
Fans are skeptical of the physical media argument, and the leaker has been widely accused of running a cryptocurrency scam. Analysis of crypto transactions in late August pointed to Cyberleek having cashed out around $270,000. Every video the leaker has posted links to the same website and coin.
Take-Two Investigation and Rockstar’s Response
Cyberleek went quiet after a series of GTA 6 leaks in August that led Take-Two to open an investigation, including subpoenas to Discord and other services in federal court. The leaker returned this week with a 24-minute gameplay video showing cutscenes, story beats, a first-person camera, and nude scenes of Jason and Lucia. An earlier clip ended with the word “LEEK” shot into a wall, which indicates access to a playable build.
How the footage, or any build behind it, left Rockstar’s development environment is still unknown. In August, Rockstar called the leaks “heartbreaking” for its development team and “unfortunate” for fans.
The studio acknowledged that the intended experience “may now be impacted by some spoilers” and kept the November 19 release date unchanged, the same date Rockstar confirmed ahead of the console launch.
For players, two points follow from the facts so far. Buying the Cyberleek coin funds the leaker directly and carries the usual risks of an unregulated memecoin with no official link to Rockstar or Take-Two.
Players who want to avoid story spoilers before release should also expect more unofficial footage to circulate on social media and video sites in the weeks before launch.
Rockstar and Take-Two have not commented on the latest threat, and there is no confirmation that the leaked material contains the complete story mode.
