Pitch2Win, in collaboration with SGverse and SGgrow, is back for its fourth edition, promising even greater opportunities for aspiring startups. Scheduled for June 12, 2024, this year’s Pitch2Win event will showcase 10 innovative startups as they pitch their ideas to a distinguished panel of judges and investors. The selected startups will compete for a grand prize of $10,000 in equity-free funding and an all-expense-paid trip to IVS2024 Kyoto, Japan’s largest crypto conference, offering unparalleled networking opportunities and exposure to global trends.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible to participate in Pitch2Win-4, founders and startups must:
- Be visionary innovators
- Be an early-stage technology-enabled startup
- Be based in Nigeria
- Be available to attend the physical event scheduled for June 12, 2024, in Lagos.
Success Stories:
Past participants in the Pitch2Win Competition, such as Reliance Health, LifeBank, Edves, Lendsqr, and Figorr (formerly Gricd), have collectively raised over $50 million. Notably, Reliance Health, the winner of the maiden edition of Pitch2Win, raised $46 million in two funding rounds. Curacel, Reliance Health, and Plumter have all gone on to join Y-Combinator (YC) after participating in Pitch2Win. Additionally, Pharmarun, the winner of Pitch2Win 3, secured a $50,000 grant from an initiative sponsored by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Last year’s competition saw over 500 startups apply, with 15 finalists advancing to the final round. Pharmarun and Akowe emerged as the top winners, receiving cash prizes of $10,000 and $3,000, respectively. The event drew over 300 attendees, including investors, industry experts, and founders, providing valuable exposure to all participants.
